Recipe: Cranberry sherbet mixed with vodka and fino sherry, and topped up with Schweppes Tonic Water. Topped with fresh cranberries for a festive finish.

To add a little pizzazz to the holidays, my drink of choice is the festive Cranberry Sparkle. Inspired by the classic vodka cranberry cocktail, this easy recipe is elegantly sweet yet tart. All you’ll need is cranberry sherbet – boxed cranberrry juice is fine too – vodka as your base, a touch of fino sherry and top it up with the handy Schweppes Tonic Water. It is perfect for sips in between the lavish indulgence of hearty Christmas roasts and festive log cakes.

Recipe: Warm up with this fiery festive mix. Lapsang souchong and smoky bourbon are mixed with Schweppes Ginger Ale. A citrus lemon wedge, an aromatic sprig of rosemary, and a toasted cinnamon stick finish this lightly spiced favourite.

A little smoke, a little spice – what’s not to love about this twist on the Moscow Mule? It’s super easy to throw together and customise. First, I switched out vodka for bourbon for some sweetness, and as a tea lover, I couldn’t resist infusing tea into my bourbon. All you’ll need to do is steep a tea bag of your choice into the spirit for about 15 minutes. I went with lapsang souchong for that smoky edge. I also love the fizziness that Schweppes Ginger Ale adds to this drink. The hint of spice is so refreshing too, making it a perfect drink for a festive summer brunch. And don’t forget to garnish with an aromatic sprig of rosemary. If you’re feeling a little extra, a toasted cinnamon stick would definitely take it up a notch.

Recipe: Make merry with a mix of white rum, coconut rum, coconut milk, Schweppes Soda Water, lime juice, and fresh mint.

Singapore’s hot weather is notorious. There’ll never be a wintry, snowy December but that’s not to say we can’t celebrate a white Christmas. With the White Christmas Mojito, this all-white coconut concoction is bound to instantly get you into a festive mood. Start by muddling the lime and mint together, before blending together the white rum, coconut rum, and coconut milk. A burst of tropical flavours from the coconut and lime comes through strong – that’s exactly how I like it. It’s not overwhelmingly creamy either, since I then top off the blend with a splash of Schweppes Soda Water for some extra sparkle. If you like, you can also scatter a few pomegranate seeds atop for a pop of colour.

Recipe: A quality gin, earl grey tea, Schweppes Tonic Water.

Your regular gin and tonic just won’t cut it during a Christmas party. Pick a nice bottle of gin and spruce it up by infusing Earl Grey tea for enhanced flavours of bergamot and citrus. Let it sit for 20 odd minutes or so, then top it off with Schweppes Tonic Water for that extra layer of tang. Simply garnish with long strips of cucumber and some forest berries to make it look really festive. The result is a visually unassuming tipple that is set to wow your guests this Christmas.
