My wardrobe comprises three things: black tees, white tees and striped tees. (The trousers I just pile into a mountain on the floor – and let’s not begin with where I keep the underwear.) Truth is, I can’t tell my Ferragamos from my Ferraris. Ferrero Rocher is more up my alley. So I read this month’s feature story on the best shops in Singapore with incredulity. Are those lace thingies that look like one cup of a bra really hats? And is that robe that looks like what the Assassin’s Creed dude would wear to a Matrix-themed party really a top for men? Wait, and you can find them here, in the land of Havaianas and Crumpler bags? Hmm. Well, if you’re as clueless as I am, find out about the boutiques and brands you didn’t know about, in our March issue.
March is also the month for Spring/Summer collections. As always, I defer to my infinitely better-dressed team mates to pick out the choice items of the season. Take it away, ladies!
Also, Singapore Cocktail Week is back this month, with 60 restaurants and bars getting liquored up. We've put together a definitive guide just for you, so you'll know the best workshops, cocktail and food pairings, and international bartender shifts to catch. And as part of the cocktail-appreciation week, Time Out Singapore is also throwing our own cocktail week event, Jio You Cocktail Club.
If you're planning instead to do something more laid-back with the family or friends, then check out i Light Marina Bay for dazzling light art installations, live performances and artist workshops. We've also listed five must-see luminescent artworks you don't wanna miss at this year's festival.
