When choosing a hotel for staycations, some things are almost non-negotiable – like a nice swimming pool, sumptuous breakfast spread and fancy bathtub to soak in. But there's one more thing we get excited about: the glorious miniature bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner you find in the bathroom. An indulgent morning under the rain shower as you take in the sweet, sweet scent of geranium-scented body cleanser? Yes, please. If like us, you've joined the toiletry snob club, we've got you covered with our round-up of hotels in Singapore with the best toiletries.

With its landscaped gardens, cascading pools and ultra-luxurious rooms, do we need any other reason to love Capella Singapore? Evidently yes, especially when you make a beeline for the bathroom and find miniature bottles of Aesop toiletries. Douse yourself in the Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser and pamper your tresses with the brand's Classic Shampoo and Conditioner. Remember to keep your skin moisturised with the Rind Concentrate Body Balm. We promise you'll never be the same again.

Check into any Fairmont hotel around the world and you'll find in-room amenities from New York perfumer Le Labo. And of course, Fairmont Singapore doesn't disappoint. Spend an evening soaking in the tub and lather yourself up in the Le Labo Rose 31 Shower Gel, specifically made for Fairmont Hotel & Resorts. The shampoo and conditioner will also leave your hair soft, shiny, and smelling like soft-scented roses.

After years of lining the bathrooms of its hotels worldwide with the beloved Bliss products, W Hotels have recently switched to Italian brand Davines this year. In fact, some of the products – the MOMO Shower Gel, Body Cream and Vegetable Soap – are formulated exclusively for the W. They smell so heavenly, you may be tempted to sneak some miniature bottles home. However, as part of Marriott's plan to eliminate single-use toiletries globally, they now come in waste-reducing, full-size bottles – so you have yet another reason to book another staycation at W Singapore.

It's no secret that Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is home to the city's first L'Occitane spa, with world-exclusive Néroli & Orchidée treatments. So it comes as no surprise that all its suites and rooms are also lined with an arsenal of L'Occitane bathroom amenities? From the shower gel to shampoo, each product is infused with essential oils – something your mane will definitely thank you for.

Ah Raffles, our grande dame. Being one of the most luxurious hotels in the city definitely comes with high expectations – but the hotel doesn't disappoint. Each of the suites here is outfitted with toiletries that are specially created for Raffles Singapore by London-based perfume house Ormonde Jayne. The Isfarkand range shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are a lime-basil-mandarin-cedar blend that just adds to your staycation experience.

The devil is in the detail at Andaz Singapore, from its interiors to in-room amenities. The scent used for Andaz Singapore's bathroom amenities was exclusively dreamt up by French perfumer Christophe Laudamiel, who sought inspiration from places like Botanic Gardens, Arab Street and Chinatown. He calls the finished product 'Singapore Fusion #19', a floral blend of dewy orchids, orange blossoms, Indian sambac jasmine, and ginger lilies.
