1. Enjoy some old school fun at Let’s Play!

From now till June 7, 2026, step back in time and let your kids discover the joys of old-school play at Let’s Play!, an exhibition celebrating Asia’s rich gaming heritage. From the speedy strategy of mahjong and congkak to the thoughtful moves of go and chess, these games have entertained, educated, and connected generations. Marvel at exquisitely crafted boards, try your hand at interactive stations, or take on the outdoor installations. With school collabs, local game clubs, and playful talks, this is where little hands meet big fun – and who knows, they might even outsmart you. Find out more here.

2. Gear up for race season at Pop-Up In The Museum

Buckle up, families – MINT Museum of Toys is hitting the accelerator with its latest pop-up, running from now till October 5. This edition celebrates the thrill of diecast cars, collectible models, and multi-track racing fun, sparking nostalgia for parents and pure excitement for kids. Feast your eyes on a dazzling diecast display, including rare classics like a 1970s ‘Woody Woodpecker’ from Corgi, alongside curated pieces from local collector Korei. Then, shift gears into a shop-meets-play wonderland, where Hot Wheels-supported merchandise lets little hands test, browse, and collect. Finally, dive into the multi-track play zone, where stunts, speed, and strategy turn racing into a hands-on family adventure. It’s fast, fun, and full of smiles. Find out more here.

3. Get creative at the IKEA Family Festival

IKEA is turning up the fun this school holiday across its Alexandra, Jurong, and Tampines stores. Until September 14, little ones can let their creativity run wild at the Skogsduva colouring booth and collect soft toy stickers – the first 50 kids to complete all 18 stickers get a special edition sticker and plushie. Tiny hands can also get crafty at the beading stations, designing personalised keychains, on September 13 and 14. Plus, IKEA Family members spending a minimum of $50 on home goodies will bag a limited-edition meatball keychain – because even grown-ups deserve a bit of fun. Find out more here.
