Asia’s best bar, Jigger and Pony, reopens today

Things will once again be shaking up at Jigger and Pony when the bar reopens today, September 9 2020, 4pm.

A lot has happened since the bar’s closure on March 27, even before circuit breaker measures began in full force. The team kept busy by bottling cocktails, conducting virtual workshops, and most notably, clinching the top spot on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2020 list. While celebrations could only take place virtually back then, it is now finally possible to grab a drink at this award-winning bar, and raise a toast to the team that has been shaking up our local drinking scene since 2012.

Expect concoctions from ‘The Decade Ahead’ menu, launched just two weeks before the stay-home period. And to celebrate its reopening, Jigger and Pony is also launching a new pop-up filled with belly-filling, hearty rice bowls. Called ‘On the High Rice’, the menu hopes to entice drinkers to swing by a little earlier to savour its range of locally inspired rice boxes. Highlights include the beef rendang, and keto-friendly biryani with cauliflower rice – best paired, of course, with a cocktail or two.
