There’s only one item on the menu for now, and all cakes are via pre-order only

Another Bangkok export has slipped into Singapore – Bake It Babe, the banana cake specialist that’s been all over Thai TikTok, has set up shop on Desker Road.
And if you’re about to shrug it off expecting a snaking queue, don’t, because there isn’t one – cakes here are strictly pre-order only, with scheduled pick-ups.
The brand’s rise traces back to founder Tarn, a former Thai language teacher who reverse-engineered a banana cake she couldn’t get out of her head after trying it at a student’s home. That experiment turned into a home-based hustle, then a full-fledged operation with a steady daily output in Thailand. It also gained traction after a TikTok by Tuk Little Monster racked up over 1.7 million views.
In Singapore, the concept is pared right down. One product, no variations (for now): a 20cm banana cake going for $19.80. It arrives pre-sliced into nine portions and baked fresh in small batches.
The cakes are made with oil instead of butter. The texture lands on the lighter, fluffier side, with a clean banana flavour coming through from properly ripened fruit. Think easy, everyday cake rather than something rich and indulgent.
The team is keeping things tight for now, but there are plans to expand – more outlets, possibly new flavours, maybe even Singapore-only spins.
Follow their Instagram for more updates, and place your orders via DM at least two days in advance.
Bake It Babe is located at 105 Desker Rd, Singapore 209627, open from 10am to 9pm daily.
