Three local flicks are crashing cinemas this Chinese New Year, and yes, your SG Culture Pass is picking up the tab – Golden Village is now letting Singaporeans pay for these homegrown hits with their $100 credits.

So, what are the three films on screen? First up is 3 Good Guys, a fantasy-rom-comedy mashup. Jeremy, played by TikTok’s very own Simonboy, and his sidekicks Mike and Ah Bao stumble through love, marriage, and a shrine visit that turns into a boozy chaos-fest.

Next, for those craving a retro chuckle, Liang Po Po Vs Ah Beng brings back Singapore’s sassy grandma icon Liang Po Po to team up with Malaysia’s hotheaded Ah Beng in a cross-border showdown.

Rounding out the trio is Luck My Life, Singapore’s first mahjong movie. Richie Koh, fresh from a Golden Horse nod, plays Zhuo Tian Cai, a cocky mahjong whiz who loses his mojo after disrespecting the game. Cue romance, mystical mentors, and a showdown against actor Tay Ping Hui’s legendary champion character.

Snagging the tickets is easy peasy. Just log onto the SG Culture Pass site, type in “GV,” pick your movie, and grab the $16 SG Culture Pass Everyday Movie e-Voucher. Quick reminder: this is the voucher, not the actual ticket. To watch the film, head to the Golden Village website or iGV app, enter your code at checkout, and you’re all set. Don’t wait too long, though, vouchers expire on March 18.
