There are 11 couple-friendly SG Culture Pass events, with CMB users enjoying priority access and special promos when using their credits

If your idea of a first date still involves overpriced meals and the same three questions on loop, allow us to introduce a plot twist.
Dating app darling Coffee Meets Bagel (CMB), one that boasts over 250 million matches globally, has teamed up with SG Culture Pass for a year-long campaign that basically invites you to swap small talk for shared experiences. The theme? “Date with intention: Culture brings us closer.”
So what’s the vision? According to CMB CEO Shn Juay, cultural dates slow the tempo. Instead of defaulting to dinner-and-drinks autopilot, the collaboration nudges singles toward workshops, performances, museums, and heritage trails. And here’s the catch we’ve all been waiting for: many of these can be redeemed using the government-backed $100 SG Culture Pass credits.
Before anyone writes this off as fluff, the stats tell a different story. CMB’s data suggest nearly twice as many women prefer concerts and live performances for date night (19% versus 9% of men), withmuseum or gallery dates also scoring higher among women (18% versus 12%).
So where do we begin? Starting this Valentine’s Day, there are 11 couple-friendly SG Culture Pass events up for grabs on the official site, with CMB users getting priority access and special promos when they use their credits. Sleuth your way through FRAMED Murder Mystery, chase clues at the Ransack Puzzle Hunt, paint side by side at an Acrylic Painting Workshop, catch symphonic favourites at Pixar in Concert, or brave the eerie halls of Hell’s Museum Admission Ticket, to name a few.
And this isn’t just a Valentine’s Day one-off. Expect more SG Culture Pass-eligible events to drop throughout the year, with dating casually slipping into Singapore’s wider love affair with local arts and heritage.
