Singapore and Asia’s very first Chick-fil-A will start welcoming customers on December 11, 2025, and you’d best believe crowds will be lining up before the store opens at 10am. Ahead of the grand opening at Bugis+ next Thursday, Time Out Singapore has been given a sneak peek of the space and menu, which includes all-time favourites by the American fast food chain as well as Singapore-exclusive items. Read on for the full lowdown.
The space
Chick-fil-A Singapore is located on the first floor of Bugis+, right by the entrance to the mall along Victoria Street. The space is bright and well-lit, with light wood and red accents. Like any other fast food joint, it’s got the regular counters and digital ordering kiosks, but the ambience is noticeably a step up. Some unique design elements include pretty booth seats, vintage-looking light fixtures, a feature wall with flattened Coca-Cola bottles, and a mural along the main dining hall with illustrations of Singapore’s landmarks.
The food
At a glance, the menu offers five burgers, three salads and six sauces, with meals starting from $11.80. Each set comes with a side of the chain’s famous waffle fries and a soft drink of your choice, though there’s the option to swap out the fries for mac and cheese ($1.70 top-up) or a salad ($0.70 top-up).
We went straight in with the original chicken sandwich ($6.80 à la carte, $11.80 as a meal), which features a deep-fried chicken breast patty with dill pickle chips. Each bite is simple yet satisfying – the chicken patty succulent, the pickles adding crunch and acidity, and the buns cloud-like and soft. The parcel is easily devoured in just a few bites, especially when dunked in Chick-fil-A’s signature sauce.
Speaking of sauces, these make up a big part of the Chick-fil-A experience. These are the six flavours available, ranked in order of our most to least favourite:
- Chick-fil-A sauce (the OG)
- Spicy Chilli (a Singapore-exclusive, only available at this store)
- Garden Herb Ranch
- Honey Mustard
- Sweet & Spicy Sriracha
- Barbeque
Chick-fil-A’s spicy chicken sandwich is the equivalent of its original sandwich, except with a spicier seasoning used for the breading ($6.90 à la carte, $11.90 as a meal). For something more substantial, the Chick-fil-A Deluxe ($8 à la carte, $13 as a meal) and Spicy Deluxe ($8.10 à la carte, $13.10 as a meal) are jazzed-up versions of the classic sandwiches, with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.
The most expensive item on the menu also happens to be the healthiest: a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and multigrain brioche buns ($9.50 à la carte, $14.50 as a meal). Health-conscious diners can also go for one of the salads ($12.50 each), which all feature mixed greens with either grilled chicken, nuggets or spicy chicken.
Chick-fil-A’s nuggets, or ‘pops’ rather, considering their shape and size, are equally tender, and use real chicken breast instead of the usual dubious meat mixture in nuggets elsewhere. Eight pieces cost $6.90 on their own or $11.90 as a meal, while a dozen nuggets cost $9.60 or $14.60.
The drinks
Apart from the usual soft drink selection, Chick-fil-A Singapore will also offer diet and regular lemonade (from $4.50), sweet or unsweetened freshly brewed iced tea (from $3.80), and its signature drink, the Sunjoy (from $4.50), which is a blend of the two. Customisations are available, whether you prefer to have your lemonade or iced tea sweeter.
And it’s not an American fast food joint if milkshakes are not on the menu. Pick from four indulgent flavours ($6.90 each): vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and cookies and cream. These all come topped with whipped cream and a Marachino cherry, the old-school way.
The verdict
While prices here are on the higher end in relation to the portion sizes – over $10 for even the most basic meal – we can see why many will still pay a visit, whether it’s regular folks who’re curious about the hype, or maybe even Americans craving a taste of home. It’s the first and only Chick-fil-A store in all of Asia after all.
Either way, it’s always nice to see how Singapore remains a choice destination for international F&B brands looking to spread their wings in the region. This year alone, we’ve seen other big names like French patisserie Pierre Hermé and Australian dessert chain Yo-Chi set up shop on our shores, and we’re waiting to welcome even more next year, such as South Korea’s Lotteria and Filipino bakery Mary Grace.
Chick-fil-A Singapore officially opens on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 201 Victoria St, Bugis+, #01-19, Singapore 188067. Operating hours are Monday to Saturday, 10am to 10pm. The store will be closed on Sundays.
