Celebrate what our homegrown talents have got to offer with a slew of free gigs and concerts hosted by Esplanade, Singapore Art Museum and more.

Esplanade presents: All Things New

From now 'til Jan 31

Get acquainted with the fresh faces of Singapore's music scene. From alt-rock bands and jazz-influenced acts to electropop duos, Esplanade's annual month-long gig series All Things New lets you discover new tunes and bands that are worth checking out. Expect familiar names such as Cosmic Child, Baybeats alumni FXTRT and Subsonic Eye, and new ones like Picks, The Intimate Friends and more.

SAM Late Nights

Jan 12, Feb 9 & Mar 9

On every second Friday of the month starting from now 'til March, Singapore Art Museum is hosting a late-night shindig with live music performances, free entry to the museum with extended opening hours and a special session with the curators of the museum's latest exhibition Cinerama. Don't miss performances by rising local electronic musicians such as Evanturetime, Amon Wong and Canvas Conversations. Also, we hear there'll be plenty of booze and munchies served by Standing Sushi Bar throughout the night too.

TGIF Music Station

From now 'til Mar 16

Unwind and take a break from your office as The Central Business District comes alive with a curated music programme featuring the talents of xinyao songbird Pan Ying, Tay Kexin of MICappella and Project Superstar winner Kelvin Chen. The series is held on the first and third Fridays of each month at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. Shows are scheduled at 12.30pm and 7.30pm – so you chill out during lunch break or let your hair down for some post-work #TGIF entertainment.
