Kids sure do grow up fast. In the blink of an eye, Singapore's first Giant Panda cub Le Le is taking his first steps into the Giant Panda Forest main exhibit at River Wonders.

His official first day out on Thursday (March 10) was marked by the unveiling of his information board at the Giant Panda Forest. Le Le left the nursery with his mother, Jia Jia, who continued to watch over him attentively as he explored his new environment.

To prepare for Le Le's big day, the team at River Wonders 'baby-proofed' the main exhibit. The space was cleared of potential risks and the water area was drained and padded with leaves and pine bark chips to keep Le Le safe. According to the Mandai Wildlife Group, the curious cub has since been showing off his climbing skills and playing with enrichment toys within the enclosure.

To catch a glimpse of Le Le and Jia Jia, simply visit the Giant Panda Forest exhibit at River Wonders. If you're lucky, the cub will be out of his nursery and in the main exhibit.
