There’s something undeniably magical about watching a movie under the open sky, toes in the sand, cocktail in hand, while the sun melts into the horizon. For 11 nights this year, Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema transforms Sentosa’s Tanjong Beach into exactly that kind of escape.

Now in its eighth year, Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema has been voted Asia’s most beautiful open-air cinema by Time Out and 12th in the world.

Gates open at 5.30pm, so arriving early is the way to go if you want the best seats and a proper soak up of the atmosphere. Choose from a selection of Hendrick’s cocktails, including the classic Hendrick’s & Tonic and the refreshing Seaside Fizz. And at 7.45pm, the beach transforms into a silent open-air cinema beneath the stars.

The 2026 film lineup pairs award-winning international cinema with evergreens. Highlights include Song Sung Blue, an uplifting musical drama starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson; If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, a darkly comic, incisive take on modern life with Rose Byrne; Sentimental Value, Joachim Trier’s Cannes Grand Prix-winning family drama; No Other Choice, Park Chan-wook’s comedy thriller; and Into the Wild, a timeless exploration of freedom and stepping away from everyday expectations.

Tickets are priced at $48 (early bird at $43) and entitle you to a Hendrick’s Gin cocktail, beach deck chair seating, wireless silent-cinema headphones, and complimentary shuttle service to HarbourFront MRT.
