Good news: closures are kept short this time round

Hawker centres and wet markets are a staple no matter the season – festive or fasting, rain or shine, busy or quiet months. And we all know February this year is doing the most. Between festive feasting, family catch-ups and the beginning of Ramadan just as calendars are filling up, eating plans are already a logistical sport.
With all that going on, it’s worth noting that several hawker centres and wet markets will be temporarily closed for spring cleaning. The good news, though – closures are relatively restrained this month, so your usual makan routines won’t need a full reroute.
