Jay Park, Choi Min Ho, and Gabe Heck join more than 14,000 athletes at the National Stadium

Hyrox is back in Singapore for its fifth edition, and this time, things are shaping up to be slightly different. For the first time, the Singapore National Stadium will host a three-day takeover from April 3 to 5, 2026, packing in over 14,000 athletes, extra races for men and women, and the growing adaptive division (designed for athletes with permanent functional impairments). This year’s race will also be joined by celebrity faces like Jay Park, Choi Min Ho (SHINee), and Gabe Heck.
If you’re not familiar, Hyrox is a global fitness race that combines running with functional workouts and takes place every year in cities around the world. Though slightly intimidating, it’s for everyone: elite athletes, first-timers, weekend warriors, and anyone who would love to see how far they can push themselves and celebrate the sheer thrill of sweating it out with thousands of others who are just as hyped as you.
Whether you’re deep into training or just thinking of signing up, we’ve got you covered. Here’s your complete guide to everything you need to know for the upcoming race – so you can focus on your reps and leave all the homework to us.
This year’s Hyrox in Singapore will take place from April 3 to 5, 2026 – three full days of runs, rows, sled pushes, lunges, and wall balls await.
Hyrox 2026 will take place at the Singapore National Stadium – a central venue that can host thousands of athletes and spectators.
Athletes range in age from 16 to 74, hailing from 58 countries. The event is accessible to people of varying abilities. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just here to join the party, there’s a category for you.
Registration is straightforward: head online, choose your category, and opt in for complimentary personal accident coverage from AIA Singapore, valid throughout April 2026. If you’re travelling from out of town, you can also grab discounted flights via AirAsia, special stays with World of Hyatt, and ticket perks with Grab, including PayLater options.
Participants can choose from five main racing categories, each offering a slightly different challenge. Singles is the classic Hyrox experience – tough but achievable for anyone ready to test their endurance. For seasoned athletes looking to push themselves further, Singles Pro adds heavier weights for an extra challenge. Prefer to tackle it with a partner? Doubles lets you share the workload across the race, while Doubles Pro combines teamwork with heavier weights for those craving a real test of strength and strategy. For groups, gyms, or corporate teams, Relay Teams split the race across four people, making it the fastest and most approachable option. Finally, Hyrox’s Adaptive division ensures inclusivity, providing athletes with permanent functional impairments the chance to compete on equal footing and enjoy the full Hyrox experience.
Each athlete completes eight rounds of a 1km run followed by a functional workout station, repeated until the final finish line. The stations include SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Expect to finish anywhere from 60 minutes (elite) to 2 hours (first-timers), depending on your fitness level.
Yes – but don't underestimate it. If you can run 8km comfortably and are familiar with basic gym movements (rowing, lunges, wall balls), you're good to go. First-timers should focus on pacing rather than speed: treat the first few stations as a warm-up, save energy for the back half, and remember that finishing is the real victory. Tip: Doubles lets you split the workload with a partner if you want moral support (and someone to blame for your sore legs).
Ticket prices depend on category, starting at $144 per person for the Relay category, $180 per person for the doubles category, and $196 for the Singles category.
You can also join the Hyrox fever as a spectator – single-day entry tickets are available for $23, while three-day entry costs $55.
