Exact opening dates will be announced between end-April and early May

New Bahru isn’t slowing down anytime soon – another 15 new tenants are getting ready to move in.
If you haven’t been, New Bahru is a lifestyle complex set within a former school. Independent labels sit alongside familiar names here, and you can easily spend a day bouncing between a workout, coffee, retail therapy and a fancy dinner. Current tenants include local label Beyond The Vines, cafe Dear Born, and goods store Sojao.
On the F&B front, the complex is welcoming an exciting list of newcomers. Singapore-born Dumpling Darlings is coming through with its well-loved dumplings and noodles, while East Coast’s favourite Italian restaurant, Fico, drops in as a pop-up for a limited run. There’s also Kios Minang and Kulon adding Indonesian flavours into the mix, plus local craft beer bar Orh Gao Peh Gao for rotating taps and unpretentious vibes. Wood-fired roast-and-noodle restaurant Laifaba and popular Japanese sushi chain Sushiro will also be added to the mix. And of course, Parlour Gelato steps in to cover dessert.
Retail’s getting a serious boost too. Japanese lifestyle label Beams is opening a limited-time pop-up – its first standalone store in Singapore outside Lumine Raffles City. French sustainable shoe brand Veja also opens its first standalone store in the city, and Texas’s outdoor gear store Yeti is popping up for a limited time. Store Store, a pop-up platform for independent brands, will also bring in a rotating lineup with local brands like Atlas Kind and Source taking turns in the space. Homegrown furniture store Stacked Store will also be added to the directory.
