The year is shaping up to be a feast for foodies, with a wave of international F&B brands landing in Singapore for limited-time pop-ups – saving us the airfare and the queues. We’ve already welcomed Seoul’s Standard Bun and Kyoto’s famed Kichi Kichi omurice, and now, two more well-known brands are joining the lineup: Osaka-based crêperie Crepe Endo and Umacha, a Japanese premium tea café from Los Angeles.
If you’re unfamiliar, Crepe Endo is best known for its signature batter – fluffy on the inside, crisp on the outside. The brand’s unique creations include sweet edamame paste paired with fresh cream for a balanced sweet-savoury bite. Here in Singapore, you can expect exclusive menu items created specially for the pop-up.
Meanwhile, Umacha is the brainchild of Japanese tea lovers in LA, focusing on artisanal teas with fresh fruits and a creamy cheese foam, as well as toppings like brown sugar boba. The current cult-favourite strawberry matcha latte, will also be available at the pop-up.
The pop-up is located at Isetan Scotts in Shaw House and is open daily from 10am to 9pm. It is set to run for two months. On June 5 and 6, the first 100 customers each day who follow the official Instagram account will receive a free crêpe and drink.
