The launch also includes Singapore-exclusive packaging, marking the first release in a four-part tin series rolling out through 2026

If Singapore were a macaron, what flavour would it be? Well, no more wondering needed, because French pastry chef Pierre Hermé has gone ahead to answer that question with the world’s first Singapore-inspired macaron, set to be launched at his Resorts World Sentosa flagship store, on February 9, 2026.
So what does it actually taste like? Named The Jardin Peranakan, the Singapore-exclusive macaron puts familiar Peranakan flavours through a distinctly French lens. Pandan is worked into a smooth ganache, while kaya – made from coconut cream and eggs – anchors the centre with richness. A final hit of herbal freshness cuts through the sweetness, keeping the whole thing balanced, or as we say it, less jelak.
The launch also comes with a special packaging designed just for Singapore. The macarons are housed in collectable tins illustrated by local artist WHOSMiNG, featuring unmistakable local icons – from the Merlion to the Universal Studios Singapore globe, with even a cheeky nod to the king of fruits, better known as durian. This is the first release in a four-part Singapore-exclusive tin series rolling out throughout 2026, so, collectors, keep your eyes peeled.
You’ll find The Jardin Peranakan exclusively at Pierre Hermé Paris at Weave, Resorts World Sentosa, where the flagship boutique goes all out with its full lineup – macarons, pastries, chocolates, ice creams, and barista-made drinks.
Pierre Hermé Paris is located at 26 Sentosa Gateway Weave, #01-234/234A Resorts World Sentosa, and is open from 10am to 8pm daily.
