Pokémon Centre Singapore is reopening on July 1 with a whole new look and exclusive Singapore-themed merchandise.

After temporarily closing for renovations earlier in April, the world's first permanent Pokémon Centre outside of Japan is unveiling its biggest makeover since opening in 2019.

The most noticeable change arrives before you even step through the doors. Taking over mascot duties from Pikachu is Solgaleo, a majestic Legendary Pokémon with a lion-like silhouette and unmistakable mane, chosen to headline the store's refreshed identity. Expect to spot the sun-themed Pokémon splashed across the new logo and standing prominently at the entrance alongside Pikachu.

Inside, you’ll notice a new, prominent façade designed to evoke Singapore's skyline. The store now also includes a dedicated event zone at the rear. Equipped with a large-format screen, the space is designed to host everything from video game gatherings and Pokémon Trading Card Game sessions to mobile gaming events.

Pokémon Singapore will also be rolling out a new collection of commemorative merchandise inspired by everyday life in Singapore. A total of 20 exclusive products have been created for the reopening, with the first batch arriving on July 1. A second wave follows in August.

Look forward to Solgaleo and Pikachu plushies – including one adorable version with Pikachu clutching a durian – a cityscape print imagining Pokémon living among Singapore's landscape, and a range of merchandise paying tribute to one of Singaporeans' favourite daily beverages: a cup of kopi.

If you're planning to visit during opening week, entry from July 1 to 5 will be managed through a combination of advance reservations and same-day queue tickets.

Reservations will be required for the morning session from 10am to 1pm, while walk-in hopefuls can try their luck with same-day queue tickets distributed from 8.30am onwards. The reservation application will be released via their Instagram soon here.

Pokémon Centre Singapore is located at Jewel Changi Airport, 78 Airport Blvd., #04 - 201 & 202, Singapore 819666.
