If your home has been crying out for a splash of joy, Ikea has just the thing. The Swedish furniture giant has teamed up with Stockholm’s rising star designer Gustaf Westman to drop a limited-edition, 12-piece collection that’s basically a hug in homeware form. Think sculptural candleholders, spiral vase, playful lighting and boldly coloured porcelain plates that turn your everyday routines into mini celebrations. Westman’s signature rounded forms and candy-hued palette – from festive reds and greens to bubble-gum pink and baby blue – are all about injecting fun and creativity into the everyday.

And lucky for Singapore, you don’t have to wait to feast your eyes on the collection. Ikea is giving you a first-hand experience with an exclusive preview pop-up at The Factory at New Bahru, from September 17 to 21. Pop in, explore the full collection up close in person, and see how even your morning toast could feel a little more extraordinary.

But that’s not all. The pop-up comes with all the cheeky extras you’d expect: free cotton candy to sweeten your stroll, a $1 photobooth for a quirky memento, and a chance to win an autographed piece from the limited edition collection.

The Ikea x Gustaf Westman collection will be launched as part of the furniture brand’s annual winter collection, Vinterfint, later this year – just in time for Christmas. Find out more about the collection here.
