Following an earlier rumour that Shake Shack is setting up shop in Singapore, a premium Straits Times article has unveiled that Changi Airport's new megamall, Jewel, is also going to house Shaw Theatres, American fast-food chain A&W and a concept by Jumbo, a popular local seafood restaurant.
The 10-storey complex attached to Terminal 1 is set to open next year, with more tenants slated to be announced in the coming weeks. It's expected to house over 280 shops in its 134,000sq m space, with about a third focusing on food and beverage. Changi Airport has yet to release an official statement confirming this list of prospective tenants.
