Something pretty in pink has landed at New Bahru, and it’s a classic case of love at first sight. Enter none other than the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Café – the British beauty brand’s first-ever pop-up café in Singapore. Taking over pastry café Átipico as well as the open lawn in a wave of rosy hues, this limited-time event marks the launch of the new Pillow Talk Beauty Soulmates Collection in Singapore.

For the uninitiated, Pillow Talk is a cult-favourite Charlotte Tilbury range which focuses on universally flattering shades – think nudes, soft and rosy pinks, and deeper burgundies that enhance your features in a natural manner regardless of skin tone. At this romantic themed pop-up, fall in love with four new Pillow Talk Love Effect Lipsticks ($53) which have a pink heart gem adorning their caps; as well as the Pillow Talk Beauty Soulmates Palette ($90), a duo palette with powder blush and finishing powder in a luxe gold heart-shaped compact. Both items are limited edition launches, so you know what to do if you don’t want any regrets.

Come hungry because Átipico has come up with a series of exclusive bakes and drinks specially for the pop-up, all of which are in theme with this pink paradise. We highly recommend the Pillow Talk ‘Just Kissed’ Cruffin ($8), a crispy flaky pastry with strawberry and vanilla filling. Those with a penchant for creamier desserts can opt for the airy Pink, Plum & Pout Choux Puff ($15) with lychee and raspberry confit, or the Beauty Soulmate Strawberry Pavlova ($15) which gets a nice sourish twist with lemon cream.

Into the strawberry matcha trend? You’ll love Charlotte’s Strawberry Matcha ($9) – our favourite beverage of the lot – which has a perfect balance of full-bodied matcha with strawberry compote and whipped strawberry cream. Other drinks include the cold-brewed Love Potion Peach Rose Iced Tea ($8), and the Pillow Talk Pink Latte ($7), an espresso with the Charlotte Tilbury logo dusted on top.

Get ready to pucker up and pose, because there’s also an open-air Pillow Talk Love Playground featuring a four-metre-tall old-school dial phone flanked by giant Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks as the main highlight.
Head ‘round the back, and you’ll realise that this installation doubles up as the Pillow Talk Kissing Booth, where you can get instant photo prints with pink heart-shaped frames by Solace Studios for absolutely free. You don’t even have to make a purchase to get in on the fun, so strut on in with your Beauty Soulmate and unleash your inner diva as the camera snaps away.

TIME OUT TIP This area is also decorated with deck chairs and umbrellas in a cute strawberries-and-cream colour scheme. If Átipico gets too crowded, opt for a takeaway and enjoy your drinks and snacks here, but remember to be considerate and clean up after yourself once done. The best time to chill here would be towards the end of the day, as the mid-day sun can get pretty unforgiving.
The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Café in Singapore is now open at New Bahru, 46 Kim Yam Road, till May 23, 2025. The takeover at Átipico opens from 9am to 6pm on Tuesdays to Sundays (closed on Monday), while the Love Playground at the lawn opens from 10am to 10pm daily.
