Now that we're all staying home, our phones and laptops act as portals to the outside world. Over the past month, we've attended live concerts, art exhibitions, and theatre performances – all from the comfort of our homes. Sure, the ongoing situation has put a halt on arts and cultural performances, but that doesn't mean you still can't get your dose of culture.

If you've enjoyed watching Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of The Opera on YouTube last weekend, here's good news: BroadwayHD, an on-demand digital streaming media company based in New York, is offering access to its treasure trove of musicals online. With a subscription plan that costs $12.80 a month, you can watch the world's best musicals in HD. And now for a limited time only, BroadwayHD is offering a seven-day free trial – perfect to get you through the 'circuit breaker'. You can then decide if you want to continue getting your dose of culture.

On the platform, subscribers will find performances from Broadway, The West End, and other elite venues around the world. While the availability of the titles varies by region, you can watch some classics such as five-time Tony Award-winning Pippin, Vincent Bataillon's Swan Lake featuring Tchaikovsky’s famous score, and Oklahoma starring Hugh Jackman. Shakespeare fans can also catch up on classics such as Hamlet, King Lear, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet

So if you've basically abused all of the Netflix series available, it's time to brush up on your theatre knowledge next.
