What is The Formula 1 Exhibition?

The globally touring exhibition is an immersive deep dive into the sport's 76-year history, bringing iconic cars, cinematic storytelling, interactive displays and behind-the-scenes access into one giant love letter to Formula 1. After successful runs in cities including London, Madrid, Melbourne and Amsterdam, Singapore is now its first destination in Asia.

Where is it?

The exhibition takes over Gardens by the Bay, right next to Satay by the Bay and just a short stroll from Gardens by the Bay MRT (Exit 1).

It opens from July 23, 2026, for a limited run. The closing date has not yet been announced.

What can you expect?

The exhibition is split across seven immersive zones, beginning with a walk through Formula 1's biggest moments before diving into the technology, engineering and the rivalries that shaped the sport.

What are the highlights?

You'll find championship-winning machines including Sebastian Vettel's 2011 Red Bull RB7 – the very car that dominated the 2011 season and claimed victory at the Singapore Grand Prix – as well as Jenson Button's 2003 BAR Honda 005.

Don’t miss your chance to jump behind the wheel either at the racing simulators modelled after the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Browse rare race suits, helmets and memorabilia, and get a closer look at the engineering that keeps F1 cars glued to the tarmac.

One of the exhibition's most moving sections revisits Romain Grosjean's terrifying 2020 Bahrain crash, displaying parts of his HAAS car alongside the gloves and boots he wore that day. The experience wraps up with Singapore Drive, a tribute to the city-state's role in Formula 1 history, celebrating the circuit that gave the sport its first-ever night race.
