Joining the likes of Casual Poet Library is Little Saturday Room, a newly opened community library and gathering space in Aljunied, created around a shared love for books, music and nature.
Founded by the team behind RJ Paper, a well-loved paper supplier in Singapore, the cosy space is inviting you to slow down, browse, listen and simply exist for a bit. The founders describe it as a space where people can reconnect with themselves and each other, with hopes of growing it into a creative community hub for Singapore's east.
And it isn’t a traditional library – here’s how it works. Little Saturday Room runs on tiny rentable "locker nooks". Anyone can lease one as their own miniature corner of the space, filling it with whatever they want to share with the community – from favourite books and vinyl records to artworks, zines and other creative finds.

Your little nook then gets in front of everyone who walks through Little Saturday Room's doors, making it a low-key way to share your passions with fellow book, music and nature lovers. And if you’re just here to visit, then think of it as a space where you’ll be able to encounter someone else’s favourite books, beloved artworks, or curated mixtape.

Little Saturday Room is located at 118 Aljunied Avenue 2, #01-138. It's open 12pm to 9pm daily, and closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
