As people start taking social distancing more seriously in order to flatten the curve, some have managed to find humour in the situation. Stay street(wear) smart this stay home season with t-shirts that promote the importance of social distancing. Parodying the hugely popular streetwear brand, Anti Social Social Club, a local group SG Social Distancing Club have come up with a line of t-shirts bearing the words 'Singapore Social Distancing Club' and 'Anti Social Social Distancing Club' in the same style on the back of the shirt. At the front in small print are the words: 'If you can read this, you are too close'.

The group had first started a meme and joke account when social distancing rules were implemented in Singapore as efforts to slow the spread of Covid-19 ramped up. Each post is accompanied by a message for Singaporeans to be responsible, start practising better hygiene and keep a distance in public.

You can get either design on a black or white t-shirt. T-shirts cost $25 each and profits from the sales go into The Courage Fund, which supports individuals and families who are affected by the crisis. The Courage Fund was first established in 2003 during the SARS outbreak and provides grants to those who needed it. This year, it's working hard once again to provide help to those impacted by Covid-19. T-shirts can be ordered by filling up a form

Stay safe (and trendy) as we do our part in these times. While you're being responsible, you can also read up on how you can help the community, especially those affected by the coronavirus crisis.
