TGIF! But since we're all stuck at home, do days even count anymore? Short answer: yes if your birthday's due in a couple of days (you lucky Aries). If you're still scratching your head figuring out the cool things you can to do at home this weekend, we've got you covered. You can either follow our 28-day plan or check out our round-up of things to do online this weekend. Alternatively, you can find inspiration in our new series where we bring you a daily dose of the things we’re loving right now including food, music, movies, workouts and more – all of which you can also experience from the comfort and safety of your sweet digs (bed hair included) during this circuit breaker period.

Yesterday, we supported our favourite watering holes via a virtual bar, cosied up for a live lunchtime jam with The Sam Willow's Jon Chua as part of Adidas Singapore's #Hometeam, and watched penguins play tourists with hearts in our eyes. Today, we're making our interstellar dreams come true with Science Centre Observatory and NASA, dancing with a cause with Revision Music, and showing some love to our local buskers.

Science Centre Observatory and Astronomy 102 Live Vodcast and Stargazing Series and NASA at Home
Ground control to Major Tom – we're going to infinity and beyond. One of our favourite places to stargaze in Singapore can be found at Science Centre Singapore – at the Observatory to be exact. However, due to the circuit breaker, zooming into space through its 40cm mega-telescope is unlikely, unless you've got one sitting in your house. But if you don't, the Science Centre Observatory is hosting an out-of-this-world exploration every Friday with a live vodcast at 4.30pm and stargazing session at 8pm, each happening on alternate weeks via the Science Centre Observatory Facebook page.

But if, like us, you're hungry for more space adventures, NASA has a plethora of virtual tours. We're making our dreams of being an astronaut come true – sort of – with a 360-degree tour of the Hubble Space Telescope mission operations centre, a virtual 3D tour of the International Space Station, and a guided journey through the Trappist-1 star system with NASA's Exoplanet Excursions. That's not all – there are also videos of the solar system, asteroids, and past Apollo missions too. With Earth at a standstill right now, embarking on a trip to the final frontier could just be tonic we need this weekend.

Revision Music Live Stream
Just because the clubs are closed, doesn't mean we can't set our bedroom dancefloor ablaze with our fiery weekend moves. And we love a good party, even if it's just a party of one. Tonight, we're dancing like no one is watching (literally) to a wild mix of genres including jazz, hip hop, soul, funk and world music spun by Revision Music DJs Rah and Nez Senja. The duo are helming their personal decks for a good cause, spreading awareness and raising funds for the Vulnerable Women's Fund by AWARE Singapore.

All proceeds go towards helping women who have suffered unemployment, a loss in housing, caregiving stress and domestic violence. In March alone, AWARE received 619 calls – the most ever the team has received in one month, which means that more help is needed during these difficult times. Join us in doing good and feeling good this Friday.

Circles.Life Discover
As many of us stay in during this circuit breaker period, so are our local buskers. While we're all doing our bit to flatten the curve, the downside is that this causes a setback in the buskers' daily income, as well as doing what they enjoy most: performing. Contrary to popular belief, buskers aren’t just performing for your loose change. For years, street musicians have turned public spaces into their stage with only a guitar in their hands, wind in their hair and a song on their lips, giving them carte blanche to express themselves and interact with the public audience.

We're all in when it comes to championing our local talents – especially when their rendition of an Ed Sheeran hit sounds better than the original (just saying). During this circuit breaker, buskers are going offline and going online by teaming up with Circles.Life to perform their acoustic sets live and direct from their homes. Show your support by purchasing a ticket via the Discover section of the Circles.Life app where you'll then receive a link to watch your favourite busker belt out their creative covers and originals. You don't even have to be on the Circles.Life mobile plan to show some love. All ticket sales will go to the respective buskers.

Kickstarting the series tonight at 8pm is Jay Yeo, followed by Yi Ting (April 18), Jason Yu (April 19), Fyrdauz Macbeth (April 20), and Cliff Lee (April 21).
