The new space features an island bar, upgraded sound system, and a 25-seater karaoke room

If you’ve been mourning Singapore’s shrinking nightlife scene, here’s some good news: Capital, Zouk’s premier nightclub, is back, as part of a larger revamp happening across Zouk’s Clarke Quay playground that’s expected to be completed by mid of 2026.
The redesign, led by internationally acclaimed Josh Held Design, centres on bringing people together. The layout now sits 542 people comfortably across two rooms, with 25 sofas and 12 standing tables adorned with gold accents.
At its core sits an iconic island bar, a luminous centrepiece that anchors the room. Surrounding it, a new sound system pumps crisp, immersive audio through the space, so wherever you are, you’re right in the thick of it.
Then there’s the wildcard: a private karaoke room tucked inside the club. It fits up to 25 people and comes with its own bartender setup.
Capital’s calendar is stacked with themed nights. Thursdays ease you in with hip-hop and R&B, Fridays go all out with open-format chaos and EDM, and Saturdays rotate through themed nights: first Saturdays of the month will see Surge, blasting iconic EDM from Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix, Zedd, and David Guetta, while the second Saturday will host Edition, spinning 2000s R&B and Hip-Hop club hits. The third Saturday of the month is themed Glam, spotlighting local female DJs and offering exclusive perks for ladies. And final Saturdays will feature Total Recall, where you’ll get to indulge in nostalgic pop anthems from the 90s and 00s.
Capital is located at 3C River Valley Road 01-05 to #02-06, 179022. For the full lineup and tickets, check out Capital’s website here.
