Following the successful launch of its first Southeast Asian outpost at Ngee Ann City, soufflé pancake specialist Flipper’s opens a second outlet at Bugis Junction.
The sun-drenched location will serve up its signature cloud-like stacks – but this time in more delicious variants (also exclusive to the new store). Premium Toretama egg, which boasts a glossy amber hue, is turned into a sunny side up, and layered atop two signature pancakes. Thick-cut turkey bacon, homemade rosti, and sesame yuzu-tossed salad complete this savoury fry-up ($22.80). For something lighter, yet equally enjoyable, try the avocado salmon ($22.80) brightened with drizzles of honey yoghurt sauce.
Those after something sweet can look forward to the return of its popular seasonal creation: Millennial strawberry pancake ($24.80). Here, the fluffy pink stack, blanketed in strawberry-blended cream, comes adorned with chewy additions of strawberry daifuku. The honeycomb and nut butter pancake ($17.80) is another Bugis-exclusive treat, served with a salty-sweet mix of butter folded with crunchy bits of honeycomb and nuts.
