The date: our daters had a meal at Big Sake Bar

First impression

Jaime: ‘He looked shy. He was slow to warm up and I had to initiate most of the conversation.’

Manoj: ‘It was easy to talk to her. Even though we only just met, it was like we were already friends.’

Chemistry

Jaime: ‘We both moved to Singapore fairly recently, so we could instantly click because of that.’

Manoj: ‘I don’t think we had any romantic chemistry; maybe we can just be friends.’

Awkward moment

Jaime: ‘Not really. Maybe at the start – but he’s nice.’

Manoj:  None at all.’

Afterwards

Jaime: ‘We just went our separate ways but because I live nearby, he walked me to the bus stop before getting a cab.’

Manoj: ‘We exchanged numbers and I waited for her bus to arrive before taking a taxi home.

Verdict

Jaime: ♥♥ ‘It was nice, but I’ve a gut feeling that things won’t work out. I probably won’t see him again unless it’s just for coffee.’

Manoj: ♥♥♥♥ ‘It’s my first time going on a date in Singapore and she was so friendly. It was an interesting experience.’
