Time Out says

It claims to be the ‘centre of gravity’ in the Singapore retail scene – and with jaw-dropping frontage, cutting-edge design, and more than 300 stores, it makes a good case. Apart from the obvious reason for coming here – shopping – be sure to check out the extra bells and whistles. There’s ION Sky, a double-storey observation deck on the top two floors, an art gallery that boasts 4000-square-foot of art space, as well as restaurants and shops that  houses designer brands such as Cartier, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Louis Vuitton, and Prada, as well as the dependable staples from Topshop/Topman, Uniqlo and Zara. Many stores housed in this luxury mall are among the largest or the first of their kind in Singapore, like the largest POPMART store and CASETiFY’s first retail studio.

Cheese Wonder pop-up

There’s another viral Japanese dessert in town. Cheese Wonder, the popular no-bake cheesecake brand from Hokkaido, which typically sells out within minutes, makes its appearance at ION Orchard for a limited time only. From 8 May to 3 July, 2026, you’ll get the chance to sink your teeth into this rich and delectable “fantasy dessert” that’s made with Hokkaido milk, cream, butter, and free-range eggs sourced from the brand’s own farm. For its Singapore pop-up, there are only three items available on the menu. This includes its original 4-piece Cheese Wonder set, and Wonder Sand, an 8-piece cheese sandwich cookie set featuring two types of Hokkaido cheese. If you’re a big fan of strawberries, then make sure to treat yourself to its seasonal variant, Cheese Wonder Red. It’s got a juicy fruit centre, that’s cocooned in creamy strawberry-infused cheese mousse. Cheese Wonder launched in 2021 and gained popularity in Japan due to its limited releases. The pop-up at ION’s basement opens every day from 10am, so if you want to get your hands on it, be sure to stop by early before they fly off the shelves.
