Get your anime fix at Gardens by the Bay’s Anime Garden. The weekend festival, happening at the Supertree Grove and Flower Dome, is part of the Gardens’ annual Sakura exhibit, which displays a variety of cherry blossom species alongside landscapes inspired by Ishikawa’s heritage. At the Anime Garden, look forward to a marketplace offering F&B and merch, as well as a daytime entertainment stage featuring performances from rising local and Japanese acts.
Plus, an anime event wouldn’t be complete without cosplay galore. Aside from competitions, there’s also an exclusive meet and greet with two global cosplay sensations. Get up close with Munoko from China and Thames Malerose from Thailand as they take part in photo sessions and autograph signings.
Each night ends with a twilight concert at the Supertree Grove. Catch anisong stars like yanaginagi, Eir Aoi, KIHOW from MYTH & ROID and ZAQ as they perform theme songs from popular anime and other chart-topping J-pop hits against the backdrop of colourful giant trees.
