With its colourful shophouses and serene waters, CQ @ Clarke Quay stands as an iconic landmark of Singapore. For decades, it's been the top spot for nightlife, a place that's held plenty of exciting stories and cherished memories for Singaporeans. After undergoing an extensive transformation, the stunning riverfront destination is now set to unveil its fabulous makeover as a day-and-night venue, with more than just bars and clubs.

Promising bigger and better retail, lifestyle, dining, and entertainment options, CQ @ Clarke Quay has since evolved into a family-friendly entertainment hub offering a range of activities for any time of the day. The renewed version includes three new zones – The Warehouses (Block B), The Circuit (Blocks C & E), and The Riverfront (Blocks A & D) – and even welcomes your furry friends. Here's our guide on exploring these zones for an endless supply of fun, along with exclusive opening deals and performances at the launch event on April 26.

One-of-a-kind lifestyle and retail concepts

The Warehouses at CQ @ Clarke Quay are home to a couple of unique lifestyle and experiential concepts that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. One of them is Swee Lee Clarke Quay, which goes beyond being a standard store for musical instruments and accessories – it’s also home to a café and bar, and offers a dynamic community space for fan events and live performances.

There’s also FairPrice Finest Clarke Quay, which boasts a spacious Grocer Food Hall with a sit-down dining space and a range of cuisines from six food kiosks. This also includes their “You Pick, We Cook” concept where customers get to select their choice of meat or seafood and have it cooked on the spot. Pair this with beer on tap, or a heritage cocktail inspired by local flavours, from the supermarket’s Grocer Bar.

Health and wellness are also part of the line-up, with Bold Fitness offering an extensive range of gym equipment along with personalised coaching to cater to everyone’s fitness needs. After your workout, soothe those aching muscles at Natureland Spa.Therapy, with luxurious spa treatments like full body massages (from $81.75) and body scrubs (from $52.32) at the hands of skilled therapists.

Dining options across a variety of cuisines

It’s foodie heaven here at CQ @ Clarke Quay, with a wide range of cuisines to suit every palate. Take in the bold flavours of Mexican grub and handcrafted Agave cocktails at Señor Taco, home to a Mezcal library of over 200 labels, tuck into comforting Korean street food like ramyeon and spicy stews from POCHA! Korean Street Dining, or savour classic Chinese cuisine from East Treasure Chinese Restaurant. If your taste buds swing towards green and healthy, drop by iNCREDi BOWL for their fresh organic salads, smoothies, and delectable acai bowls at The Riverfront.

The Riverfront is also home to timeless seafood restaurants ideal for family feasts, such as Red House Seafood Nanyang and Seafood Paradise. For those with a sweet tooth, the cherry on top is the dessert café Overscoop, which promises refreshing gelato and croffles ($7) – a hybrid of a croissant and a waffle.

Family-friendly entertainment and thrill rides

If you’ve been wracking your brain on where to visit for your next gathering, CQ @ Clarke Quay has got you covered with family-friendly karaoke joint, K.STAR. With 22 futuristic-themed rooms, it makes for an out-of-the-world experience compared to your regular KTV hangout.

Home Singapore, a dual-concept eatery, is reinventing the traditional café experience with Home Dawn and Home Dusk. Home Dawn offers freshly brewed coffee, delightful brunch specialities and more, while Home Dusk sets the mood for a relaxing evening with its music lounge showcasing resident live bands daily.

The excitement reaches its peak with Slingshot, Asia's tallest slingshot ride. Sit tight as you’re strapped to your seat and then catapulted into the air 70 metres above the ground by the structure’s suspension cord. That’s one way for thrill-seekers to catch views of the city’s skyline!

Pawrents, here’s your chance to spend some quality time with your best buddies – just look out for the pet-friendly logo on the various establishments’ storefronts along the riverfront and have your pick from a range of dining options. Frolic by the river with your furry friend, and take heart in knowing that there are dedicated hydration bays, pet waste stations, and pet parking zones scattered around the precinct. CQ @ Clarke Quay will also be hosting a regular calendar of pet-friendly events, where pet owners can get together and be part of a like-minded community.

Fret not about the outdoor heat – CQ @ Clarke Quay is filled with omni-directional fans with cooling evaporative mist that lower temperatures by two degrees, as well as upgraded canopies that reduce solar heat by 70 percent, making it a pleasant experience for both human visitors and their furry friends.

Iconic photo spots with a touch of nostalgia

The picturesque location known for its rainbow of lights just got a whole lot more Instagram-worthy with the addition of a 110-metre long mural artwork. The renewed walls of The Warehouses showcase the first collaborative artwork of local artists Yip Yew Chong and tobyato. It depicts a modern myth titled Fire Fish that combines Yip’s signature nostalgic style and tobyato’s larger-than-life motifs, adding a modern twist to traditional murals. Its distinctive colours make for a stunning photo op while inviting visitors to delve into the River’s hidden stories. The mural draws inspiration from the red-and-white Teochew bumboats and the Singapore River’s beginnings as a maritime trading port for firewood in the early 19th Century, as narrated in heritage bronze floor tile plates located across CQ @ Clarke Quay.

If you can’t wait to check out all the new changes at CQ @ Clarke Quay, save the date for the official launch event on Friday 26 April. Commencing at 6pm, the event features an immersive drone show, live music entertainment by Zouk Singapore as well as local band The Cold Cut Duo, and other illuminated performances and photo opportunities.
