Which thrill-seeker are you? Find your experience at Resorts World Sentosa’s Festival of Thrills

You know which haunted house will make you question your life choices, and you’re probably already plotting your Halloween Horror Nights route. As the headline scare-fest within Festival of Thrills, make Halloween Horror Nights 14 (HHN14) your main event, with four haunted houses, two scare zones and three live shows – with the spotlight on local horrors.

Don’t miss Karang Guni: The Cursed Collection, where a familiar local karang guni uncle gets a sinister makeover and every trinket in his shop carries a curse. This year also introduces Ponti-Ana, a new scream queen inspired by the legendary Pontianak, and HamiKuma, the zombie teddy bear from Universal Studios Japan. Add live shows including Scaremony and Nail the Beat, and you’ll have plenty to keep your adrenaline – and vocal cords – high.

Halloween Horror Nights 14 runs on 18 selected nights from September 25 to November 1, with tickets from $68. Not recommended for children under 13.

Forget watching a detective solve the whodunnit – you want to get involved. At Pool Party Panic, live DJ sets and party vibes at Bluwater Bay come to an abrupt halt as five sinister crime scenes, inspired by Singapore folklore, come into play. Five suspects emerge, each with a motive and confession, while puzzles, evidence and clues are scattered across the waterpark. Investigate the scenes in any order, unlock the confessions and piece together the evidence to identify the culprit before the final reveal. Simply scan the on-site QR code to launch the browser-based game and play solo or with friends.

You’re fascinated by the mysterious, the otherworldly and anything that looks like it might have existed long before us. Into the Glowcean gives you a chance to see Singapore Oceanarium in an entirely different light, transforming its marine habitats into a luminous underwater world after dark with neon installations, glowing marine-life sculptures and family-friendly Halloween fun. Get up close with sea jellies, try light painting, catch an LED violin performance, or make a manta ray lantern to take home.

But the real headline act is the very first Silent Disco: Deep Blue Beats on September 19, an after-hours dance party where you can groove through marine environments in wireless headphones, surrounded by glowing sea jellies and prehistoric marine creatures. It’s an immersive night out that puts a whole new spin on exploring the Oceanarium after dark.

Into the Glowcean runs from September 5 to November 1, with tickets from $55 for adults and $43 for children and seniors. Silent Disco: Deep Blue Beats costs $55 separately, and includes access to selected zones and one complimentary drink.

Got little adventurers in tow? Legend Keepers turns a day at Adventure Cove into a treasure hunt, sending families on a quest filled with clues, puzzles and Singapore legends to awaken an Ocean Spirit.

It begins when a mysterious board game appears by the water’s edge, sending glowing paths and Singapore legends spilling into the park. Guided by Merli the Tide Guardian, families explore five installations inspired by Kusu Island, Bukit Merah, Sisters’ Islands, Radin Mas Ayu and Temasek. Solve puzzles at each location to restore the Ocean Spirit’s lost memories, then complete the final challenge to awaken it. Scan the on-site QR code to play, then collect candies and treats when you complete the quest.

Legend Keepers runs from now until November 1 and is included with a One-Day ticket from $34 for adults and $29 for children.

If your idea of a successful Halloween involves more giggles than screams, make a beeline for Trick or Thrills. This family-friendly celebration brings the spooky season to younger visitors with fang-tastic shows, photo-worthy installations, character meet-and-greet sessions, plus themed treats and merchandise to keep little ghouls grinning. 

Head to Illumination’s Minion Land for a new show titled The Belloween Ball, starring the debut of Bride of Monster Bob. You can also meet Gru, Lucy, Margo, Agnes, Edith and a mischievous evil Minion, alongside new faces including Sanrio’s Kuromi in her Halloween get-up and Fairy Godmother from Shrek. 

Trick or Thrills runs until November 1 and is included with regular park admission, from $76 for adults and $69 for children.

For a breather between thrills, tuck into free-flow weekend brunch at Moutarde at WEAVE from September 12 to November 1. It’s a good excuse to slow things down over a leisurely meal before diving back into the attractions, or to refuel after a morning of exploring. Come Halloween weekend, you can also step into Horatio’s speakeasy-style Haunted Spirits from October 29 to 31 for a suitably spooky nightcap. You can also keep the good times flowing with your choice of a three-drink pass or two-hour free-flow pass throughout the Festival of Thrills.

Prefer horsepower to horror? Add some race-season excitement to your visit at WEAVE, where the free Lenovo Gaming Zone puts your racing skills to the test, and the Adrenaline Bar keeps you fuelled up with bites, booze and beats. From September 13 to October 12, you can also get up close to a full-scale race car display and explore other motorsport experiences, making it easy to swap haunted houses for high-speed thrills for a few hours.
