Capture the spirit of Kampong Gelman through the weekend tour Polaroid Walk – Every Wall Tells a Story ($100/2h). Walk through the dazzling history of street art along Haji Lane and Bali Lane with a friendly tour guide. Want to bring a piece of the colourful urban landscape home with you? Meanwhile, aspiring artists can let their creative juices flow at Discova’s Counter-Culture Street Art Workshop at Kampong Gelam ($89.50/2.5 hours). Relive the birthing of the local creative scene at key institutions like B Side Records, to learn about music’s impact on homegrown street art, and Blackbook Studio, for a dive into graffiti styles over the years. You’ll pick up stencilling and lettering techniques yourself, from an artist who contributed to the Hall of Fame.
Zip around Haji Lane and Bali Lane on the Vespa Kampong Gelam Hall of Fame Sidecar Tour ($160/hour for 60, 120 or 180 minutes).
