Happening from August 30 to September 3, this pop-up market at Market Blue will have plenty of shopping across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and accessories – and a bustling food market too.
Stock up your wardrobe with the best of Korean streetwear from Kirsh and get your bling on with elegant accessories from MZUU and k_fashion_c (most lately seen on actress Lim Ji Yeon in the hit Netflix drama The Glory). If you're into bags, be sure to check out the chic and colourful totes from Avec. Also keep your eyes peeled for cosmetic brands like Smile Skin and YBINI.
In the home and living department, The Moon Jar will be setting up shop with its range of functional ceramics, while Abode has a delightful collection of colourful rugs, cushions, and plushies to brighten up your home.
KK Market Festival's no slump on the food front either. Be one of the first to try gimbap brand Futoru, which Market Blue will be launching at the festival. For those who missed out on the Korean Bakery Pop-Up, you'll be glad to know that it's returning for the duration of the festival – so, that's your chance to try K-Apple bread, red bean anpan, and mochi donuts from two famous bakeries in Daegu, South Korea. For things you can buy home, look out for Gold Kimchi's kimchi products, Mukda Food's dried fish, Hodunamu's rice cakes, and Frutrip's vegan desserts.
As a fun twist, you can pay for street food at KK Market Bakery using tokens modeled after yeopjeon, the currency used in ancient Korea. It will be sold in bags of 10, with each bag going for $20 (1 token = $2). Watch out for the pre-order on Market Blue's Instagram page and stand a chance to win one free bag.
