Chinese New Year decorations usually include calligraphy couplets and red packets hanging from money trees. This year, VivoCity is taking celebrations to the next level with a giant rendition of Monopoly, where decorations including a blown-up Monopoly game board, giant gold ingots, and cherry blossom trees can be found at the Outdoor Plaza at Level 1. While the game board isn’t actually playable, it makes for a unique backdrop for your photos. Plus, there’s a three-metre-tall Mr. Monopoly statue in the middle that adds to the festive vibes.
