Learn more about the historic Fort Siloso and the role it played during the Battle of Singapore when you embark on this thrilling two and a half hours outdoor adventure, inspired by treasure hunts and escape rooms. Assemble your dream team and join Pepper, a dinosaur mascot who takes on the role of a mailman at Sentosa Fort Siloso, on this mission. Years ago, he failed to deliver crucial war letters and now it is your team’s job to find them and deliver them to its rightful soldiers.  

As you explore this national monument, you’ll get to venture into military barracks and immerse yourself in the labyrinthine tunnels, unravelling intricate puzzles and decoding cryptic messages that will lead you to the missing letters. Participants who successfully complete the quest will be rewarded with an exclusive prize.

Discover St John’s Island’s heritage, nature and stories through this immersive outdoor escape room game, set on the iconic Southern Island. Named ‘The Green Death Quest’, the game casts you in the role of the protagonist Elle, who receives an old journal from a mysterious stranger that may contain the cure for a deadly virus that has decimated half of the world’s population. The scientist who allegedly developed the cure has disappeared along with his research notes, and you will need to gather a team of five to find the hidden journals to save mankind on this self-guided journey. Through solving cryptic puzzles and deciphering symbols to find the missing journals, participants will learn lesser-known facts about the island, like how it was once a quarantine station, a detention centre for political prisioners and more. For optimal gameplay experience, it is recommended to participate in this activity with a friend (or a group of friends). Participants will receive an accompanying physical game kit that will add to the immersion.

Experience first-hand some of Singapore’s most outstanding and impactful designs through this guided gamified tour, where participants have to find a mysterious green treasure left behind by a famous architect. To uncover it, seekers must decipher a series of puzzles that the architect has left behind. Other hints provided include a bag of strange objects that need to be handed to a group of people in exchange for critical clues. During the three and a half hour adventure, participants will be taken to places like SkyVille @ Dawson and Oasia Hotel Downtown to learn about their sustainable design features through stories gleaned from the architects and designers. This tour is not only engaging and fun but also highly educational – for example, we got to learn more about how innovative design can maximise natural lighting and cross ventilation in a development. Explore the historic district of Chinatown through this mystery game tour, which will allow participants to be Sherlock Holmes for a day as they set out to find a serial killer. The scene is Chinatown, where the killer is on the loose and participants are roped in to solve a series of puzzles around the neighbourhood. The highlight of the game tour is undoubtedly the fascinating stories revolving around landmarks like the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Chinatown Complex, Sri Mariamman Temple and more, narrated by the tourist guide who is also the gamemaster. Uncover lesser known facts, like the reason behind why the stretch of shophouses along Sago Lane used to be labelled the “death houses. A self-guided outdoor game tour incepted by Singaporean Lim Yee Hung, Hidden uses WhatsApp messages and an artificial intelligence chatbot to uncover hidden gems in the city’s many neighbourhoods including Tiong Bahru, Dakota, Holland Village, Toa Payoh and more. Led by the enigmatic void deck cat, participants walk through streets and alleyways, where they will have to solve cryptic clues to uncover hidden gems. The adventure will also reveal many untold stories of each neighbourhood. For instance, the Treasure in Dakota tour will tell the tale of how the estate was named after the Douglas DC-3 aircraft, fondly dubbed ‘the Dakota’ by the British. The plane was once a common sight at the now-defunct Kallang Airport. To support local businesses, Lim also designed the game tours such that participants can unlock surprise gifts at local shops in the neighbourhood they are playing in. To date, the game covers 10 locations – some of the game locations are free to play, such as Seletar Aerospace Parkand the Land Transport Authority’s Tiong Bahru/Redhill trail.

Go an art adventure with this outdoor scavenger hunt that transforms the streets into an interactive playground through WhatsApp. Guided by Hidden SG’s AI-powered void deck cat, participants will need to solve a series of puzzles to unlock 12 hidden treasures and find art in unexpected places. Participants will also gain insights about Singapore’s arts and heritage enclave. Co-presented by DECK Photography Art Centre with HIDDEN.sg, this art and tech collaboration is part of the #BUILDECK Fundraising Campaign. A part of the tour proceeds will go towards building Singapore’s first purpose-built art centre dedicated to photography.
