As part of the Head On Photo Festival and the Guringai Festival, Indigenous artist and Wiradjuri woman Nicole Foreshew (who curated Primavera 2015 at the MCA) is presenting two new bodies of photographic work at Manly Art Gallery, under the exhibition title Mulunma (Within, Inside).
The series ‘Unburden’ and ‘Surface Bare I & II’ deal with Foreshew's exploration of earth materials, minerals and clay from significant geological sites in NSW, which she accessed through museum collections of 'artefacts'.
