A totally re-imagined dining and drinking hub has opened up on the upper Northern Beaches, on the site of the old Mona Vale Hotel. It's the first part of the five-stage transformation, which once completed will encompass several restaurants, pop-up markets, food trucks, event spaces and cocktail bars.
First up you'll find Park House Food Merchants, a 180-seat restaurant complete with an outdoor cocktail bar, garden-like patio, lounging spaces and a fireplace. The open plan kitchen's menu focuses on coal-roasted meats and sides, so think chipotle-braised asado beef short ribs, slow cooked lamb forequarter and a whole suckling pig. You'll also find Front Yard Brews and Burgers where craft beers and hamburgers are the focus; and Truck Stop, where food lorries pull over in the car park.
Park House Dining and Liquor channels some serious holiday house vibes with plush interiors, sun soaked courtyards and multi-purpose dining spaces. Keep your eyes on the ongoing development.
