Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is going all-out this NYE and NYD, throwing back-to-back parties packed with food, drinks, music and good vibes.
On New Year’s Eve they’re opening the doors at 4pm for a relaxed sunset seating before switching to a midnight session for the late revellers. Tickets start from $49 for general admission up to $359 for a three-course dinner, free-flowing beverages and a coveted spot in either the sunset room or on the deck. The entertainment isn’t too shabby either, with local legends Bag Raiders playing a special tenth anniversary set to celebrate their hit debut album featuring 'Shooting Stars'.
New Year’s Day will be a far more luxe affair, filled with the finer things in life. Guests will be greeted with Veuve Clicquot magnums and East 33 oysters on arrival, before sitting down to dishes including squid ink lobster bucatini and Wagyu scotch fillet and four hours of free-flowing cocktails, spirits, international wine, beer and more. Winston Surfshirt (DJ set) will headline the day’s entertainment, supported by DJs Mitch Wicks, Arron Smith, Loz D and more. Make sure to stick around for sunset – tickets are $499.
