Is it a dream? Is it a tripped-out nightmare? No, it's an hour with surrealist British comedian Paul Foot
If you've got a yearning to escape your logical brain for a moment and dive into a world of bizarre juxtapositions, surreal nonsequiturs and fanciful ideas, then An Evening with Mr Paul Foot is just what you need. The UK comic's brand of humour is some of the strangest you'll encounter (take, for example, his penchant for reciting phrases like "seaside divorcees clatter as a parliament of owls descends") – but it's also seated in sharp satire and left-field observations on society's norms.
This year, Foot (who doesn't have a fanbase so much as a cult – he is, after all, the President of the Guild of Paul Foot Connoisseurs) presents his new show, 'Tis Pity She's a Piglet.
