The work of Roman Polanski – dark, dangerous, perverse, unpredictable – is difficult to separate from the Polish-born director’s personal history. The Chauvel, in association with the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, is screening ten of the best Polanski films in December, along with the documentary on Polanski’s life and crimes, Polanski: Wanted and Desired.
So what's showing? Here are the ten movies, ranked and reviewed – the top six are must-sees.
