Time Out says

Let the kids get crafty in between screenings of family-friendly blockbusters

Give everyone a few well-earned hours off from racing around the house and organise a family movie day these school holidays. Over the break, Event Cinemas are offering extra bang for your entertainment buck, with free kids’ art and craft activities set up around their Sydney big screens.

Little film fans can bond over their favourite movies showing these holidays while they use the drawing and craft stations before or after screenings. There’s also plenty to keep them still in their chairs behind the cinema doors. See films starring some of their favourite animated friends, like the much anticipated Angry Birds 2, a live action take on Dora the Explorer in Dora and the Lost City of Gold, and all the magical and mystical creations in AbominablePlus, you can enjoy discounted film prices at the Family Saver sessions.

You’ll want to have a squiz at your local cinema’s site to double check that they’re participating or if they’ve organsied additional free fun.
