Time Out says

Imagination and adventure are at the heart of this playful performance for families

Ever dream of running away and joining the circus? Well that's the attitude behind this long running kids' show. Using acrobatics, shadow puppetry and circus skills, the performers in Junk will transport kids to a time where imagination and adventure reigned free. The colourful performance follows a coddled child meeting a ragtag group of kids in a junkyard who encourage him to play in the real world without inhibitions.

It’ll be a nostalgia trip for parents who played safely in neighbourhood street, and perhaps encourage a little less screen time and more adventures in the backyard. The story, performed by Australia’s youth circus troupe the Flying Fruit Fly Circus, is inspired by childhood recollections from elderly residents of regional Australia.
