This centre for art-making, dress-ups and games will fill every day of the school holidays with creative adventures. The Australian National Maritime Museum will host hourly workshops and activities between 10am and 4pm for primary school aged children.
There’s a sea theme, celebrating the Gapu-Monuk Saltwater exhibition, including the recently installed ghost nets. The kids will be exploring ocean conservation, seafaring vessels and other saltwater-related science through dress-ups, games and sculpting, printing and weaving their own artworks.
This hour of fun is included in the admission price to the museum, and kids under four are welcomed through the doors for free.
