Time Out says

Your kids can be part of a team of creators as they use recycled and new materials to build a space bot, rover or buggy to race space creatures at the Powerhouse Museum. In this school holidays workshop, they can experience space life by taking part in a series of engineering challenges and building their own space colonies here on Earth.

Afterwards, check out the seven-metre ‘Museum of the Moon’ installation and the Apollo 11 exhibition, which is commemorating 100 years since the first Moon-landing. You and the kids can play at being an astronaut and experience zero gravity.
