Li Cunxin's autobiography, Mao's Last Dancer, is brought to life by Monkey Baa Theatre Company in The Peasant Prince. This family-friendly show follows young Li from rural China to a dance company in Beijing. Li's story of struggle, motivation, and hope will inspire viewers of all ages to follow their dreams. A special 'relaxed performance' will take place on April 14. Traditional theatre rules won't apply, which is a perfect environment for younger or fidgety children. The show is aimed at children aged six and up.
