Time Out says

Whack on your helmet, drop your drawers and straddle a saddle for this nudie cycle

It may be a nightmare come true for some more modest cyclists, but this bare-all bike ride will only be peddling good vibes around the city. There’s no strict rules concerning body coverage, but since one of the messages of the ride is body positivity, they’re encouraging participants to be bold and strip down for this cycle through the CBD.

They’re going for a triple action message, also aiming to raise awareness around bike safety – be sure to wear your helmets and use those arm indicators – and environmental sustainability. Basically, they want Sydney to feel good about all the glorious shapes, sizes and abilities of our bodies, feel safe riding bicycles in the city, and reduce carbon emissions by prioritising pedal power over petrol guzzlers.

While attendance is free, you will need your own wheels to be part of the party. It’s also important to note that the event is aiming to draw attention with the fleshy display, and there will be videographers from the organisation documenting the ride. If you’re feeling coy about photographers or clothed onlookers, sport some sunnies, wacky costumes and body paint.

They haven’t set an exact route for the ride yet, but if you keep an eye on the Facebook event page you can follow any updates. This is also family-friendly ride.
