Time Out says

The world-famous illusionist brings his astounding magic to Sydney’s State Theatre next January

The most magical time of the year is about to get even more magical, because Rick Thomas is returning to Sydney. Widely regarded as one of the world’s greatest illusionists, Thomas promises to astound and amaze with jaw-dropping magic tricks and innovative illusions. You can kick off 2024 at one of five exclusive performances at the State Theatre from January 1-3.

Having completed five showstopping world tours in more than 50 countries, to staging the most successful family show in the history of Las Vegas for 15 straight years, Thomas has the slick showmanship and shiny status to impress. The last time Thomas graced Australian shores was when he starred as the Immortal in The Illusionists 1903 at Sydney Opera House. Thomas now makes a grand comeback in Sydney with his very own large-scale illusion spectacular at the State Theatre. You can get tickets to performances at 3pm or 7pm, with tickets available from $59 here. We’d suggest snapping them up quickly (and reserving centre seats), in case you want to avoid getting sawed in half.

Thomas said, “Despite being born and raised in the United States, I hold deep family roots in Australia that span generations and now I eagerly anticipate gracing the stage of the State Theatre. It offers the perfect majestic backdrop for me to weave my magic and create an unforgettable experience for Australian audiences… I assure you that my show will be a delight for the entire family, and I guarantee to leave you utterly astounded... in fact, I promise to blow you away!”

You can purchase tickets to Rick Thomas’s Australian tour in 2024 here.
