Time Out says

Bell Shakespeare’s rollicking school holiday production brings the world of Shakespeare to life for young minds

Shakespeare’s plays were the Marvel Cinematic Universe of the Elizabethan Age – spectacles about the exploits of larger-than-life characters that packed out theatres. In that spirit, a school holiday production by Bell Shakespeare will help make the Bard and his work accessible for kids and take them back in time to 1599 to meet the playwright himself as well as memorable characters from history.

The Wonderful World of Will is a live show written by Joanna Erskine, Bell Shakespeare’s head of education. Starring actors from the Bell Shakespeare Players, the show is devised for primary-aged children and their families, and following each performance the actors will lead hands-on activities to help kids on their journey into the world of Shakespeare.

Five daytime performances only will take place at the Seed, one of the performance spaces on Pier 2/3 in Walsh Bay, and tickets are just $10 for kids. As Richard II said: don’t waste time, or time will waste you – be sure to book now

Bell Shakespeare is Australia’s national theatre company specialising in the works of William Shakespeare and his contemporaries. Started by actor-theatremaker John Bell in 1990, it has been touring Australia ever since bringing groundbreaking productions of these timeless plays to audiences young and old.
